Hi there,
I know you've spent a lot of time on this already, and please bear with us. I also understand how important it is to use an accountant’s copy while working in QuickBooks.
As much as I'd like to help you in getting this thing done right away, we'll need to reach out to our customer care team. They can pull up your account and have a screen-sharing session with you. This way, we can find the root cause of this issue.
Here’s how:
- Within your QuickBooks Company file, select QuickBooks Desktop Help from the Help menu.
- You can also press F1 on your keyboard to bring up the same Help panel.
- Give a brief description of your issue.
- Click Continue.
Please know that we’re available from Monday to Friday, at 6 AM to 6 PM if you’re using the Pro, Premier, and Plus versions. However, you can reach out to us any time any day if you’re using the Enterprise. You can browse this reference to learn more about connecting to us: Contact QuickBooks Desktop support.
Furthermore, you can read about using the Accountant's Copy. It provides detailed information on how to use the feature as well as its limitations.
This reference will also guide you on how to securely send and share an accountant's copies between accountants and clients in QuickBooks Desktop: Learn about the Accountant's File Transfer Service. From there, you’ll see the benefits of using the tool.
Drop a comment below if you have additional questions about utilizing an accountant copy. I’ll get back to answer them for you. Stay safe.
