Hi there, @Jtsunshine33914.

I'm here to help you provide troubleshooting steps to fix the text so you'll be able to pay your taxes.

The steps shared by my colleagues in the thread will help you fix display issues in QuickBooks Desktop. To isolate this one, did you open a sample file and check if it's the same? Opening a sample file will help you identify if it's with your company file or the QuickBooks application.

To open a sample file, follow the steps below:

  1. Open QuickBooks.
  2. In the No Company Open window, click the Open a sample file icon and choose a company file.

Then, I'd suggest running the Verify/Rebuild Utility Tools. This process is use to fix common data issues and unexpected behavior within the file.

Before we start, please secure a backup of your company.

To run the verify utility:

  1. From the File menu, click on Utilities.
  2. Select Verify Data.

To run the rebuild utility:

  1. From the File menu, click on Utilities.
  2. Select Rebuild Data.

Once done, close and re-open the company file, then log in as the company Admin. Here's an article that'll serve as your step by step guide in resolving common data damage on your company file: Verify and Rebuild Data in QuickBooks Desktop.

Also, make sure your QBDT is updated to the latest release as well as your payroll tax table version. You can check out these articles for the detailed instructions:
