Let's resolve the error you've encountered so you can enter journal entries seamlessly, @AaronPriest.
The code 19062 00238 is an unrecoverable error that happens when importing an accountant’s changes into a client’s company file. To fix this, you can follow the steps below:
To begin, make sure to restore a recent backup or the backup created when importing the accountant's changes. This will let you restore the accounting data before you run into this error.
Then run a Verify and Rebuild data tool on the client's file. The Verify Data will identify any data issues within your company file. Then, the Rebuild tool will self-resolve it.
Here's how:
- Select File, then Utilities, and choose Verify Data.
- If it detects an error, proceed in rebuilding your data.
- Go back to the File menu and then Utilities and select Rebuild Data.
- Choose OK. If you’ll receive a message, back up your company file.
- After creating the backup file, the Rebuild Data utility will run automatically.
- Click OK when you get the message Rebuild has completed.
Once done, ensure to update QuickBooks Desktop to the latest release. This process can help fix known issues, add features and enhancements.
Regarding R12, it will be announced when the new update is released.
