Same issue for the 2023 version. C: Drive has 915GB of free space with a "not enough space" error. The 7-zip method works and is a quick fix. I assume any zip extraction program will work.
- -Move QB Installer to "Documents" folder
- -Install 7-zip and open program
- -In 7-zip, click "Documents" folder on left side of program
- -Select the Quickbooks installer file
- -Click "Extract" button in the top left of the program
- -In the pop up, indicate where to extract the files to
- -Click Ok, wait for extraction to complete
- -Quickbooks folder with Setup program should now be in your indicated location
- -Continue with Quickbooks set up as usual
