I'll make sure you can export your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) data to QuickBooks Online (QBO), Gail.
To make sure we're on the same page, may I know what version of QBDT you're using? Any additional details can help us narrow things down.
In addition to Fiat lux - ASIA added, you also want to make sure your QBDT is up to date to get around this issue. This also ensures the program is running with the latest features and fixes. Let me show you how.
- Go to the Help menu and select Update QuickBooks Desktop.
- Select the Update Now tab.
- Click Get Updates to start the download.
- Restart QuickBooks when the download finishes and accept the option to install the new release.
Once done, you can redo the migrating process. Before doing so, you'll want to read this link to learn what data will be imported to QBO: What to expect when you switch from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online.
