Thanks for joining this conversation, @TM137.
May I know what specific bank you've connected to QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT)? Any additional information will be much appreciated.
The information shared by my colleague MaryLandT can fix the QuickBooks Error 1013 even if you're using Direct connect. If it's not working, let's perform other troubleshooting steps.
To get started, let's enable TLS 1.2 Security Protocol if available. Here's how:
- Open Internet Explorer 11 and make sure you have the latest version installed.
- Go to the Gear icon on the upper right section of IE to get to the Internet Options.
- Choose the Advanced tab, then scroll down to the Security section.
- Uncheck the USE TLS 1.0 and place a checkmark on USE TLS 1.2.
- Click Apply, then choose OK.
- Close all open programs, then restart the computer.
Once done, open QBDT and try to download the bank activity again to double-check. If the same thing happens, consider checking out this article and proceed to steps 2 to 6 for more troubleshooting steps: Fix OL and OLSU Bank Feed errors in QuickBooks Desktop.
If you're still getting the same error even after following all the recommended steps, please reach out to the Technical Support Team. They can take a closer look at the error that you're getting and help you further with this. Here's how:
- Go to the Help menu and select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
- Click Contact Us.
- Let them know that you're getting an OLSU error in your Bank Feeds Center.
- Click Continue, then click Start Messaging.
Once you're all set, you might want to check out these resources for guidance. These can guide you on how to categorize and reconcile your accounts flawlessly:
- Add and match Bank Feed transactions in QuickBooks Desktop
- Reconcile an account in QuickBooks Desktop
