I'll share some information about QuickBooks Pro 2010 compatibility, JANFRANK.
As what my colleague MarsStephanieL have mentioned, QuickBooks Pro 2010 is no longer supported and compatible with Windows 10 that's why the system is preventing you from installing it. Windows 10 is compatible only with QBDT 2015 and later.
I've listed the supported QuickBooks versions below that work seamlessly with Windows 10:
- QuickBooks Desktop Pro, Premier and Enterprise Solutions 2020
- QuickBooks Desktop Pro, Premier and Enterprise Solutions 2019
- QuickBooks Desktop Pro, Premier and Enterprise Solutions 2018
Since you don't want to upgrade your QuickBooks, we can downgrade your operating system so that you'll be able to install QuickBooks Pro 2010. I would recommend reaching out to an IT support to be guided in downgrading your OS. Once done, you can follow these steps in installing the program:
- Open the installer file you've downloaded (QuickBooks.exe).
- Follow the onscreen instructions.
- Accept the software license agreement, then select Next.
- Enter your Product and License numbers, then click Next.
- Select Express and then Next.
- Select Install.
- When it finishes, select Open QuickBooks to get started.
