I just want you to know that I hear you, and I agree how helpful it is to have the auto-save feature in QuickBooks Online. Our developers are constantly working to meet our customer's needs and are taking note of every feedback we forward to them.
We currently don't have the information on the time it takes for them to implement this function. What's good about QuickBooks is that, it automatically rolls out an update without you downloading it manually. Email notifications are also rolled out in batches to all QBO users.
In the meantime, you can visit our QuickBooks Online Blog to be updated about our latest news and updates on what our Product Care Team is working on.
