Getting Started

Hello there, @Sarah0488.

Let's make sure the account you've connected is the right one so you can begin managing your transactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

You'll first have to confirm that the details you have are correct by signing into your bank's website using an incognito/private browser. Here's how:

  • Press Ctrl Shift (Google Chrome)
  • Ctrl Shift (Firefox)
  • Control Option (Safari)

Once you're done, go back to your QBO account and attempt to sign in again to your bank. Then, make sure that the financial institution you've selected is the correct account type. To do this, I'd recommend copying and pasting the URL of your financial institution's (Revolut Business) login page into the search box. Please see the screenshot below for your reference.

When you've confirmed the correct account, you'll just have to disconnect those erroneous ones. Then, start categorizing your transactions to keep your financial data accurate and updated.

Also, I'd encourage you to reconcile your accounts every month. This helps monitor your income and expense transactions and detect any possible errors accordingly. You may want to check out this article for the complete guide: Reconcile an account in QuickBooks Online.

Let me know if you have other banking concerns or questions about managing transactions in QBO. You can drop a comment below, and I'll gladly help. Take care always, @Sarah0488.
