Getting Started
Welcome to the Community space, @Race-MX.
I am here to share some steps to show the three shipping fields in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
If you're using the new invoice layout, may I know if you have the option to go back to the old invoice layout? If not, another way is to create a custom field if you're using Plus and an essential subscription to QuickBooks Online. Let me walk you through the process of creating a custom field.
Please take note that before using custom fields on purchase orders, you’ll first need to turn on the purchase orders setting. This option isn’t available for Essentials.
Here's how to add custom fields:
- Go to Settings and select Custom fields.
- Click on Add field or Add custom field.
- Enter a name in the Name field.
- Select the All Sales forms or Purchase Order checkbox. Or, select both.
- If you want to show the custom field on printed and delivered forms, turn on Print on form. Otherwise, it’ll only appear in QuickBooks Online.
- Select Save.
Moreover, I'm adding this helpful article as your reference in personalizing your sales forms: Customise invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.
Please don't hesitate to return to this post if you have other concerns about managing and customizing your invoice in QuickBooks Online. I'll be here to lend a helping hand. Have a good one!
