Getting started
Hi there, @princeofpools22,
May I know what financial institution are you using? Do you see any error message in the Banking page? I need this information to check if there are similar issues reported from other users and provide a resolution fit for the problem.
There are a few reasons why you're unable to connect your bank or getting errors in QuickBooks Online Banking. Consider the following:
- The bank recently made some changes with their security feature or connection.
- Log in credentials set up in QBO doesn't match with the online banking log in.
- QuickBooks Online is unable to connect to your bank's website.
To fix this, let's try refreshing your bank connection in the web browser. Follow the steps below:
- From the left toolbar, select the Banking menu and tap the Banking tab.
- Click to highlight the account you're updating, then hit the Update button.
Also, if you made changes in the bank website, update your credentials in the system. Here's how:
- Go to the Banking menu then find the account that is not updating.
- Click on the pencil icon then select Edit sign-in info.
- Input your log in credentials, then click Update.

Kindly update me with the result of the troubleshooting, as I want to make sure this is resolved. I'll be more than glad to share additional insights and assistance any time. Have a wonderful day!
