I've used Profile from about 2000 to 2019 tax years and importing data was not an option. I notice an Import field under the File menu, but it is greyed out and not accessible (not sure if it has a purpose)???
I've switched to TaxCycle for the 2020 tax year, and this software does allow for Data Import. Some formula coding is required, but it works for most forms, including donations, which is what I've used it for.
