Employees and payroll

I can see the urgency of getting your issue resolved, 384911JS. Let me help you to send your direct deposit transactions.

To begin with, please ensure your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) is updated to the latest release. This way, the program is running with the newest features and fixes. I'll show you how:

  1. Click Help.
  2. Choose Update QuickBooks.
  3. Select the Update Now tab.
  4. Click Get Updates.
  5. Wait until the update is complete.
  6. Restart your QuickBooks and computer for the changes to take effect.

Once completed, let's download your latest payroll tax table to ensure your QuickBooks get the newest payroll tax table to stay up to date. You can close QuickBooks one more time. After that, send payroll again.

If you'll encounter a payroll error 2107, this happens when you fail to send employees' paychecks via Direct Deposit (DD). The most causes of this are the following:

  • General internet connection issues and invalid security certificates.
  • Internet security and personal firewall software settings.
  • Incorrect system date and time properties.
  • Sending in multi-user mode.
  • A network time-out prevents QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) from connecting to the server.

To resolve this one, just perform the troubleshooting steps in this article: Troubleshoot Payroll Service Server Error or Payroll Connection Error.

Also, just in case you want to customize the paycheck layout or paystub in the future, you can read this article for more guidance: Customize a paycheck layout or pay stub.

Keep in touch if you need any more assistance with this, or if there's something else I can do for you. I've got your back. Have a good day.
