Employees and payroll
Hi there, @Helicopter1.
I'd be pleased to help you reinstate a terminated employee.
The following steps will guide you on how you can get your employee active and back on payroll:
- Go to Employees in the menu bar at the top, then to Employee Center.
- Choose the employee and open their profile.
- In the Edit Employee window, remove the checkmark from Employee is Inactive.
- Select the Employment Information menu and select the Termination tab.
- Remove all the termination details.
- Select Ok to save the updated information.
Once done, you can pay your employee right away. You can get more details about modifying an employee's status in this article: Terminate or change your employee's status on payroll.
