Thank you. This worked. QB team gave me the wrong info. They did not say to go to the reports menu but tax payment history. Which is incorrect. Here was there response to me.
- Click Payroll tax on the left-hand menu. Select Tax payment history under Tax resources. Select the date to filter the payments you want to export. Tick the boxes for the payment/s you want to export. Click Export to Accounting.
So I have followed the steps suggested but the tax payment history doesn’t have a box to check when I go into it. As you have posted, it is in the reports menu/ payroll tax payments.
I was also told to go to payroll settings and choose export transactions. It shows 1 tax payment to export, I choose export transactions, it says exported but it never gets exported to my quickbooks desktop. Not in my check register. So I have to enter it manually. There are multiple problems with this exporting feature.
But thank goodness QB users are on this and helping each other.
