Thank you for clarifying to us the QBO product version you're using, Tiffiny Taylor Krugh.
You won't be able to modify the pay period from the Payroll Settings menu since you're using Premium Payroll. No worries, I'll share the steps on how you can update the schedule in your account.
- Go to the the Payroll menu and proceed to the Employees tab.
- Select the employee's name.
- Tap Edit employee.
- Press the drop-down list for How often do you pay [employee]?. Then, select the pay schedule for the employee moving forward. Or, to create a new pay schedule, select Add new and fill out the appropriate fields.
- Click OK, then select Done.
