Just to make sure we're on the same page, are you using QuickBooks Online Payroll, or Intuit Online Payroll, or QuickBooks Desktop Payroll? 

The screenshots above shows how to customize the Payroll Detail report in QuickBooks Online Payroll. 

For Intuit Online Payroll, please go to Reports and search for Payroll Details. Please see the photo below. 

For QuickBooks Desktop Payroll, go to Reports, select Employees and Payroll, then select Payroll Details.
