IOP for Accountants is the best payroll product that Intuit has ever offered... the user initiates their tax payments, set a future date, pay electronically, etc. QBO Payroll is horrific! We have had problems with Intuit internally changing tax payment frequencies without my knowledge leading to late tax payments, fees, anxiety, etc. We've had Intuit pay a day late on several occasions even when the frequency was set properly. I was told that "the entire tax department is in a meeting for the next several days and nobody will be able to get back to you until Tuesday the earliest". I'm being told that QBO payroll is going to full service without the option to DIY for tax payments and filings...this is a massive mistake, and Intuit will loose. They do not need to be "Big Brother"... we bookkeepers and accountants are successful when we have control of the finances...we are not better off when you take away the keys, the stirring wheel and the brakes. We use your products because they used to offer more flexibility that we need to do our part correctly. Putting all of your QBO payroll on auto pilot is truly one the biggest mistakes you could create, and I highly advise against this.
