I understand how important it is to get your Q2 2020 form 941 in QuickBooks, @mbishop925

 

We've been receiving reports about this ongoing prompt when preparing your 941 tax forms for Q2 2020. Our Product Engineers are currently validating its accuracy. This way we can ensure that it includes the additional entries that are connected to the Families First Coronavirus Response Act and the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act which added various types of payroll tax relief. As of this time, we don't have the exact turn around time on when the forms will be available.  For now, you may want to check the latest update of the Federal and State Forms in the Online product. This form might be available in a few days. 

 

In the meantime, 

you can manually file the Q2 Form 941. Before doing so, I recommend printing a copy of your 941 forms as your guide when filling the form. Here's how:

 

  1. From the Taxes tab, select Payroll Tax.
  2. Click the Quarterly Forms under the Forms section.
  3. Select the 941 forms.
  4. Select a period.
  5. Click View.
  6. In the PDF page, click the print icon.

Once resolved, you'll have the option to file the form electronically or manually. If e-filed, it will be automatically archived. Otherwise, you can archive it to save as your record in QBO.
