First off, could you please share more details about your concern? Are you referring to QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) or QuickBooks Online (QBO)? Knowing this information will help me provide a more tailored solution.

 

In the meantime, if you've already followed the steps outlined in the Resend an invitation to a different email address section of the article titled Resend an Invitation to QuickBooks Workforce to View Their Pay Stubs and W-2s, which includes instructions for both QBO Payroll and QBDT Payroll, but are still experiencing issues with correcting the email address, please follow the steps below to rectify this problem:

 

If you are using QBDT, verify your company data.

 

  1. Select Window and click Close All.
  2. Go to File, then Utilities.
  3. Hit Verify Data.

Then, rebuild your company file data.

 

  1. Go to FileUtilities, then Rebuild Data.
  2. QuickBooks will ask you to make a backup before it rebuilds your company file. Select OK.
  3. Choose where you want to save your backup, then hit OK at the bottom of the QBDT Backup window. If a message asks if you want to replace another backup file, select NO. Enter a new name in the File name field and click Save.
  4. Select OK when you get the message Rebuild has completed.
  5. Go to FileUtilities, then click Verify Data again to check for remaining data damage.

 

However, if you are using QBO, we can perform basic troubleshooting steps to rule out the possibility of a browser-related problem. Start by logging in to your QBO account using a private or incognito window. Refer to the keyboard shortcuts below:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

 

If this resolves the problem, return to your default browser and clear its cache so the system can restart and start with a clean slate. Alternatively, you may use other supported browsers.
