I understand your concern, @CreativePrinters. Here's why QuickBooks Online (QBO) isn't allowing you to set the rate assigned to you by your state's State Unemployment Insurance (SUI).

You may not be able to set the rate because QuickBooks hasn't received the latest SUI rate update from your state yet. Usually, states distribute updated SUI rates towards the end of the year or in early January. Therefore, we will have to wait until the updated rate is available.
