RE: When you create a transaction in QuickBooks Online (QBO) with a different date other than the current date, the system will use this information when creating a new one.
There's no way to set a preference in QuickBooks Online so that each new transaction defaults to today? If not, I'd think it should do that instead of what the OP describes!
