Is EFILE Authorize a representative working?
Hi
Any comments are appreciated, I am trying to EFILE Authorize a representative for a client that is filing his return a bit late, but it is greyed out and inactive, not sure is it because it is not available in new Profile version? Any clue?

Hi, thank you for using Intuit ProFile Community
Glad you resolved the issue. As required by CRA, the latest version of the T1 module must be used for filing a T1 authorization, the menu item for transmitting the authorization is therefore greyed out in all earlier tax years.
Hope this helps

Failed today. CRA message was that software was not approved. I have the latest version installed.

Hi,
We are aware of this issue, and the development team is working with CRA to get it fixed.

Hi, thank you for using Intuit ProFile Community
The authorization, per CRA requirements, can only be sent from the current year tax module. For ProFile version 2020.3.0 this is the 2020 T1. Because of this the authorization menu item in the EFILE menu is greyed out in all earlier modules.
If you are filing from the 2020 T1 module, be sure to check the Enable printing checkbox at the top left of the authorization form. This will activate the form and the EFILE menu item.
Hope this help

Hi Duncan,
I am using 2021.3.5 and the fields are still grayed out - do I need to adjust a setting to enable the Authorize a representative in the e-file drop down menu?

The EFILE AUTHORIZE A REPRESENTATIVE is greyed out. It cannot be opened. Is it not working on the latest Profile for 2024?
