I appreciate you for joining this thread, @ChrisH_pty.
Since the verify and rebuild didn't resolve your issue. Let's run the repair tool for QuickBooks Desktop. This will determine if the issue is within the program.
The first step is to download the QuickBooks Toolhub. Never forget to close QB when using the tool hub. You can follow the steps below:
- Download the most recent version (1.6.0.3) of the QuickBooks Tool Hub. Save the file somewhere you can easily locate (like your Downloads folder or your Windows desktop). If you've installed Tool Hub before, you can find out which version you have. Select the Home tab. The version will be on the bottom.
- Open the file you downloaded (QuickBookToolHub.exe).
- There will be an on-screen step to install and agree to the terms and conditions.
- Double-click the icon on your Windows desktop to open the tool hub when the installation finishes.
After that, run a quick fix for the program. This will turn off any open background processes QuickBooks uses and repair the program. Here's how:
- In the QuickBooks Tool Hub, choose Program Problems.
- Pick Quick Fix My Program.
- Start QuickBooks Desktop and open your data file.
