Let me ensure you can get the latest bank transactions into your online banking in QuickBooks Online (QBO). This way, you can easily categorize them coming from your bank.
Beforehand, can you share what bank institution you are affiliated with? Also, do you encounter a specific error when updating this from your QBO Company? In the meantime, you can manually add your bank transactions to account registers by referring to the steps below:
- Go to the Gear icon, and select the Chart of Accounts.
- Locate the account registration that you want to review.
- From the Actions column, choose View register.
- Then, choose Add journal entry, Add check, or Add deposit from the dropdown menu at the top of the list.
- Choose the transaction type you want to include.
- To finish the transaction, complete the fields.
- When finished, click Save.

- Comma-Separated Values (CSV)
- QuickBooks Online (QBO)
