I'll ensure you can type an account name/number into the Account field, nb76.
The QuickBooks' unusual behavior, like being unable to type an account name or number into the Account field is sometimes caused by an outdated cache in your browser.
You can use a private or incognito window to verify it from there. Please use these keyboard shortcuts:
- Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
- Safari 11 or newer: ⌘ + Shift + N
- Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
- Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P
If you can successfully type an account number or name, I suggest you clear the cache of your main browser. This can start the system fresh. Also, ensure you're using a supported browser.
