The error code that you've encountered usually occurs when there are damaged links between transactions or the transactions themselves.
Running the Verify and Rebuild utilities scans your company file for potential data issues and fixes them right away. Before doing so, make sure to create a backup of your company file.
To Verify:
- Go to the File menu and select Utilities.
- Select Verify Data, then select OK to close all windows.
- Once you’ve verified your data, you can rebuild your company file to fix any errors or data damage that's found.
To Rebuild:
- Go back to the File menu and select Utilities.
- Select Rebuild Data, then select OK to close all windows.
