I appreciate you joining the thread and sharing your concerns here in the Community, @tjdiliscia.
I understand that these updates are beneficial to you and your business. For the time being, QuickBooks will provide updates if and when they become available.
Alternatively, what I can suggest is to do updates from time to time. I’ll guide you on how:
- Close your company files and QuickBooks.
- Open the Windows Start menu.
- Search for QuickBooks Desktop. Right-click the icon and select Run as administrator.
- While on the No Company Open screen, go to the Help menu and select Update QuickBooks Desktop.
- Go to the Options tab. Select Mark All and then select Save.
- Go to the Update Now tab and select the Reset Update checkbox.
- Click on Get Updates when you’re ready.
Once you’re done, close and reopen your QBDT, then select Yes.
From there, you can now restart your computer to finish the updates.
In addition, I’m adding this article here for more updates on IE 11: Use our built-in browser in QuickBooks Desktop.
