Yes, after undoing the initial reconciliation, you can proceed and reconcile your bank account for this month.
Here's how:
- Go to the Gear icon (⚙) and click on Reconcile.
- Click the Account dropdown to choose the account that you'll reconcile.
- Review the Beginning balance. Make sure the beginning balance in QuickBooks matches the one on your statement.
- Set the Ending balance and Ending date on your statement.
- Review the Last statement ending date. This is the end date of your last reconciliation. Your current bank statement should start the day after.
- Click on Start reconciling.
- Follow the prompts to finish reconciling your account.
