Nice to have you join this thread, D-LuxEvents.

I recognized having the option to tag a split transaction can aid you in seamlessly running your business. Currently, the option to do so isn't feasible in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

As a way around, you can utilize the class tracking feature to keep track of those transactions. I'll show you how.

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Account and settings.
  2. Click Advanced, then select the Categories section.
  3. Select Track classes and check the Warn me when a transaction isn't assigned a class box. This is optional, but it's good to turn on, so when you look at reports, you know everything got classified.
  4. Under Assign classes, select One to entire transaction or One to each row in transaction.
  5. Select Save, then Done.

You can also check this link for more details: Turn on class tracking in QuickBooks Online.

Once done, you can now assign classes to your transactions. Please see this article for reference: Track your transactions by class.

Furthermore, you can also send your feedback to our Product Development team. This way, they can review your suggestion and might consider adding them in the future updates. You can refer to the steps shared by my peer above on how to submit your feedback.

In addition, I'm adding this resource that helps ensure your QuickBooks and bank balance are synced: Reconcile an account in QuickBooks Online.

I'll be around if you need more help managing your transactions in QBO. Please feel free to leave the details in your reply and I'll get back to you as soon as I can. Have a great weekend ahead!
