Hi there, Thedale.
Thank you for visiting the QuickBooks Community. I'll be sharing details on how memorized transactions work in QuickBooks. Then, ensure you'll be able to delete some payables entries.
For now, QuickBooks Desktop won't make a way to delete memorized transactions that were not needed. This is because every transaction entered in QuickBooks is essential and to avoid any inaccurate issue with your data. However, you'll have the option to manually delete memorized entries on the Memorized Transaction List.
Here's how:
- Click the Lists menu at the top.
- Choose Memorized Transaction List.
- Select the transaction you want to delete.
- Click the Memorized Transaction drop-down and select Delete Memorized Transaction.
- Select OK.
For further details, you may open this article: Create, edit, or delete memorized transactions.
On the other hand, to delete some payables that were paid that are not entered from memorized transactions, you can go to the Vendor Center. From there, you'll have the option to delete bills and payments or any payable entries. Please follow the steps below.
- Click the Vendors menu at the top.
- Choose Vendor Center.
- Find the specific vendor and click it to show all the associated transactions.
- Find the bills/payments and delete them.
