Banking
Hi there, Fluke.
Thank you for visiting the QuickBooks Community. This isn't the kind of experience I'd like you to have when connecting your bank to QuickBooks. I also appreciate you for performing steps to fix the issue. With this, I've got some details to help connect your account in QuickBooks seamlessly.
When you encountered error 103, it usually means that the user ID or password is incorrect for the bank account you’re trying to connect. Since you've checked the credentials and they work when signing into your bank's website, you'll have to check or update your banking sign-in information in QuickBooks. This is to make sure your bank's sign-in credentials are matched.
Here's how:
- Go to the Banking menu.
- Locate the card that has the error 103.
- Click the Edit button.
- Select Edit sign-in info.
- Enter your new credentials.
- Click Update.
If the issue persists, I advising clicking this article to see another instruction on how to fix the bank connection issue in QBO: Find your bank or credit card account when you connect to online banking.
If the issue continues to occur, I reccomend contacting our QuickBooks Support Team. They have the tools to check your account and might perform a screen-share to help investigate and fix this problem.
Additionally, you can refer to each article below to view steps on how you can review downloaded bank and credit card transactions by adding or matching them. Then, how to reconcile your accounts so they always match your bank and credit card statements.
