Banking
I admire you for performing the steps shared by my colleague above, @RG Studios.
Let me share with you additional clicks to fix this so you can connect your bank to QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) for Mac.
I'd suggest running the Verify Rebuild tool. This scans your company file for potential errors and quickly fixes them right away. I'd be glad to guide you through the steps.
To verify:
- Go to the File menu.
- Select Utilities.
- Click Verify Data.
- Then select OK to close all windows.
To Rebuild:
- Click the File menu.
- Select Utilities.
- Click Rebuild Data, then select OK to close all windows.
- QuickBooks will ask to make a backup before rebuilding your company file, select OK.
- Once the rebuilds finished, click OK.
You can also check this link for more details about the process: Verify and rebuild data in QuickBooks Desktop for Mac.
Once done, reconnect your bank to QBDT to double check. If the issue persists, I propose uploading your transactions manually. Also, I'd recommend contacting our Support team. This way, they can look into your account and investigate why you're unable to connect to your bank. Please ensure to check their support hours to know when agents are available.
When everything is all in place, you'll want to utilize this link for guidance: Reconcile bank and credit card accounts (Mac). This contains information on how to match your bank account and QuickBooks accordingly.
Tag me in your reply if you have any other concerns or questions connecting your Choice of Bank or with your QBDT. I'm always here ready to back you up.
