I understand that you also want to use the tag on split transactions. Let me join this thread so I can help you.
Unlike class tracking, the Tags feature is designed and used for the entire transaction. I encourage you to send feedback to our developers and let them know that you need it for the split transactions, too. Click the Gear icon and select Feedback.
If you haven't utilized the class tracking, you can use it instead. This is a tracking feature that allows you to assign on each line item or split transactions. After splitting the transactions, follow these steps:
- From the Accounting menu, select Chart of Accounts.
- Look for the bank and click View register.
- Select the transaction and click Edit.
- Assign a class. Click Save.
