You're not reading this notice from Microsoft closely enough. It's not just that Microsoft won't be updating IE11--IE11 is being DISABLED in Windows 10 (the dominant operating system currently). As of June 15, QB internal browser will be COMPLETELY inoperable. This represents an urgent matter for QB developers.
"This means that the IE11 desktop application will no longer be supported and afterwards will redirect to Microsoft Edge if a user tries to access it."
