Thank you for joining this thread, @MikeinFl1.

Please know that this is not what I want you to feel. Let me join this thread and provide more information on how to address your concern.

You can create a new account in the Chart of Accounts for your Capital One Bank. In this way, we can isolate the error you've received. Let me show you how to:

  1. Go to List, then select Chart of Accounts.
  2. In the Account drop-down arrow, click New.
  3. Select Bank and click Continue.
  4. Fill in the information, then select Save & Close.

Once done, get in touch with your bank for the connection.

For more details, please refer to this article: Add, edit, or delete accounts in QuickBooks Desktop.

In the meantime, let’s try performing some steps to help you get back to the track. To get started, make sure your QBDT is updated to the latest version. Here's how:

  1. Close your company files and QuickBooks.
  2. Open the Windows Start menu.
  3. Search for QuickBooks Desktop. Right-click the icon and select Run as administrator.
  4. While on the No Company Open screen, go to the Help menu and choose Update QuickBooks Desktop.
  5. Go to the Options tab and pick Mark All.
  6. Hit Save.
  7. Navigate to the Update Now tab and mark the Reset Update checkbox.
  8. Press Get Updates.
  9. When the update finishes, close and reopen QuickBooks Desktop. To install the updates, hit Yes.
  10. When the install finishes, restart your computer.

In addition, you can download web connect files and manually import the transactions so they become available in your Bank Feeds.
