Yes, QuickBooks automatically records deposits and fees deducted from your QuickBooks Payments transactions.
Make sure the deposit account you select is the same as where you deposited the payments. Also, it should be the same account where fees are deducted from in real life.
To select an account in QuickBooks, here's how:
- Go to the Gear icon ⚙, then Account and Settings.
- Go to the Payments tab.
- In the Chart of Accounts section, select your accounts and save.
