Thanks for joining the thread. If QuickBooks opens automatically when you download the QBO file from your bank, that means that your browser's preferences are set to open files automatically after download. I've outlined the steps for our recommended browser of choice, Chrome below, but you should be able to do a quick search online if you're using another browser.

1. Hit the menu button, then Settings.
   
2. From the side menu, click Advanced to expand it. Choose Downloads from the sub-menu.
3. Next to Open certain file types automatically after downloading, select Clear.
