Let me help you import your Paypal transactions in QuickBooks Online, @ccraig-stemania.
We can use the Connect to PayPal app to import your transactions in QuickBooks. This way, you can easily edit, categorize, and match transactions in your Banking tab once connected.
Here's how:
- From the left menu, select Apps.
- Search for Connect to PayPal.
- Click Get app now and mark the box for the appropriate file, then select Install.
- Click Let's do it, then select Give permission.
- Enter the email address associated with your PayPal account then, Next.
- Sign in to your PayPal account and Agree and Connect to authorize the sync.
- Select Return to Intuit once the connection is established.
- Click the PayPal Bank where you'll find your PayPal transactions, then select Next.
- Click the sales tax rate that will be applied to all imported sales transactions, then select Next.
- Choose the date you like to start importing from if you have historical transactions. Then, select Done.
Please take note that you can import up to 18 months of historical transactions in QuickBooks.
You can also check the guides provided in this article on how PayPal transactions are handled within QBO: Handling PayPal transactions with QuickBooks.
That should do it. You will now see the PayPal connection listed on your QuickBooks Banking screen. Please let me know if you need further assistance in importing your Paypal transactions in QBO. I'll get back in a moment.
