Hello Nancy,
Rustler may have been referring to creating a backup copy of the file. You can follow these steps on how to do it.
- Log in to your QuickBooks account.
- Click File located at the top, and choose Back Up Company.
- Select Create Local Backup, and choose how you want to save your file.
- Click Next and follow the instructions on how to save the file.
- Click OK.
