I share the same sentiment. This update is not good. It adds more resistance to my workflow with its poor design, slow processing, & bugs. It's a step in the wrong direction. I really don't need AI unless it makes workflow easier. Here, it just seems like you added the AI label to stay relevant. But didn't back it up with anything of quality.
