Banking

We can disconnect and reconnect your bank account to check if this can help you pull up your bank transaction, RanchCPA. I'm here to help you with this process.

Based on the information you provided, it appears that a parent account has been linked to QuickBooks. This is why you received a message indicating that this account is already connected.

That said, please know that QuickBooks doesn't support connecting both parent and subaccounts simultaneously. To link the correct account, verify how your bank sends transaction data by contacting your bank directly.

For more information, please check this article: About bank or credit card subaccount setup.

Once you determine which account your bank sends transactions to, we can proceed by disconnecting the old account and reconnecting the correct one. To do so, please follow the steps below:

  1. Open your QuickBooks account.
  2. Go to Transactions, then Bank Transactions.
  3. Select the tile of your credit card account.
  4. Click the pencil icon, then select Edit account info.
  5. Tick the Disconnect this account on save.
  6. Once done, click Save and Close.
