Banking

Thank you for posting this information as I have had trouble in the past, and am now experiencing the same difficulites. Before this started happening again in April, this is how I would rectify the situation: After my Square integration, I would click to add the transactions in the review page, then click on the square receipt in the categorized section. There I was able to manually adjust my sales tax by deleting it from the product/service column (where it shows up), then choosing the correct tax amount from my tax codes, then entering the correct sales tax amount that I deleted from the product/service column. Hit save.  Then I was able to match my deposits correctly and the sales tax was recorded correctly for the right county.
But back in April, QB stopped allowing me to update the sales receipt to make the changes necessary to record the tax properly in the system.
From reading this thread, I have now disconnected my older Square integration app and just connected the new Square Connector App. The situation now seems worse, as it will still not allow me to update/edit the square receipts, just review and accept them. And since I have events with batched receipts, when I click review, it separates the batch into individual sales receipts! This will not be acceptable to have to manually update each sale, especially since I am unable to even update the tax code.
Please help and thank you.

Below I have attached a screen shot of how the sales tax would show up in the Product Sales column instead of the tax column when I was able to manually adjust this. It would work for batched sales as well.
