Thanks for your response but I've already tried the alternate browser, the pop-up blocks, the enable tool at Huntington, paid $15/month for the PNC Connect tool since Quickbooks uses PNC, shared screen support with Quickbooks, etc., and came up with no solution that allows constant contact with Huntington and/or error free manual updates.
Here is what I learned as a workaround for Huntington Bank Commercial, who requires the use of an authenticator. We use Google Authenticator.
- Log into Quickbooks as normal and go to Bank Transactions like normal.
- Note: Huntington does not update in real time and corporate will not remove the Authenticator.
- If you hit Update, the other banks and services will be updated, but Error 185 will be generated for all Huntington accounts.
- Click on one of the "Fix Now" links of one of the errors.
- It will ask for a "Pin/OPT code" or ask for the entire login to Huntington again.
- IMPORTANT: Before entering the Authentication code, click on "Get New Code", then enter the Authentication code.
- It will ramble through the updated transactions and when it is done, click OK.
