Banking
I have also been experiencing this exact same problem for awhile now. I have to use the "edit and create" and then "skip" workaround. And I notice that when I do "create" and then "skip" a reminder and then go back to the recurring transactions list, the previous date is not advanced even though I just created it.
As a software developer myself, I understand that other priorities and new features and stuff can get in the way. But issue trackers exist for a reason, and when you have dozens of people reporting the same problem over multiple years, YOU NEED TO FIX IT! This seems like such a "low-hanging fruit" to fix, why wouldn't Intuit WANT to fix it? Don't they take any pride in their work? Clearly this issue has not been fixed yet despite them claiming that multiple "investigations" have been "resolved". The problem continues, so they are not doing your job correctly. Tech Debt is not a good thing. It can't just be ignored and hope it goes away. You have to make it happen.
