Banking
Good day, @MariaK27. Retrieving transactions from your two new cards is simple. I'll provide information to help you resolve the issue of missing transactions.
First, the error message arises because you can't connect both a parent account and its subaccounts simultaneously. Attempting to do so will result in a notification that the account is already connected. To resolve it, you'll have to check how your bank delivers the downloaded transactions. If the transactions are downloaded to a single account, connect only the parent account. If transactions are downloaded to individual accounts, connect the subaccounts instead.
Additionally, after verifying with your bank that transactions will be downloaded to the sub-accounts, you can disconnect your parent account and connect the sub-accounts to QBO.
For more detailed information, check this article: About bank or credit card subaccount setup.
After downloading your entries successfully, you can start categorizing and matching them. When you're ready, you can do your regular bank reconciliation so they always match your bank and credit card statements.
Furthermore, I recommend considering using Intuit's QuickBooks Live Expert Assisted service. It connects you with an accounting professional for in-depth help with transaction categorization and accounting processes.
