Let me help you do some troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue in your reconciliation page in QuickBooks Desktop for Mac, Howierw. I'll be here to guide you.
Once you finish sorting your transactions on the Banking page, they should all appear in the reconciliation section. If it isn't appearing on the screen, let's work together to fix this.
We can run the Verify and Rebuild Data tool. Verifying will detect any damaged data while rebuilding will attempt to fix it. It also enables your QuickBooks software to update the data within the company file. Before that, make sure to update your QuickBooks to keep QuickBooks up-to-date.
Here’s how:
- Go to the File menu, then select Utilities.
- Click Verify Data, then tap OK.
Afterward, follow these steps to correct any errors or data damage that is found:
- Navigate to the File menu again, then select Utilities.
- Click Rebuild Data, then press OK.
- QuickBooks will ask you to make a backup before rebuilding your company file, choose OK.
- Once done, hit OK.
However, if you are using QuickBooks Online (QBO), I recommend accessing your account using a private browsing window. It can help us if the issue is related to your browser.
Here are the keyboard shortcuts:
- Safari: Command + Shift + N
- Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N
- Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge: CTRL + Shift + P
Once signed in, review if your transactions are now showing correctly. If it does, clear the browser's cache. It removes its stored files to ensure the program performs efficiently.
You can also utilize your account using other supported browsers. They will provide the best and most secure experience with QuickBooks.
Additionally, if issue persists, we can contact our QuickBooks support team so they can give more resolution to the issue:
