It looks like this is an odd behavior, Jrod11.

I understand how rules are important for your transactions. It helps you save time, reduce the chance of human error, and get more accurate reports. For now, we haven't received a report about this. You'll want to contact our support team so they can take a look at this and investigate further. They have the tools to pull up your account in a secure environment.

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Click Help (?).
  3. Select either tab to get started:
    • Assistant: Get quick, personalized answers. Select a suggested option, or type a question or topic you need help with. If you need further help, you can still Talk to a human.
    • Search: Search the QuickBooks Online knowledge base directly, or select Contact Us and choose a way to connect with us:
      • Start a chat with a support expert.
      • Get a callback from the next available expert.

Furthermore, QuickBooks needs to match the balance of your real-life bank account for the day. Once done, you can go to the next process. Learn how to reconcile your account to ensure all entries are matched against your bank statements and QuickBooks. I've added this article for reference: Reconcile An Account in QuickBooks Online.
