Thank you for your assistance. I did get help from QB for my issue. It was caused by the appearance of shadow versions of my accounts. I don't know what caused it but bank accounts and credit cards accounts were showing up with a "-1" version of the account. And, when I was trying to upload the transactions I saw as missing, they were going to the shadow account vs the real account as a duplicate set of transactions. I couldn't just move them from the shadow account to the main account. I had to upload any missing transactions (via QBO files or CSV exports from by bank files) being careful to designate the real account to do the upload. Once all those were verified as in my real account in either a review or categorized status, I went into the shadow account, did an Undo on any categorized transactions to put them into Review and from there moved everything into the Exclude category and deleted them along with the shadow account. to be honest, I don't know if that weas the right procedure or not or if my reports will be correct but I figured this the best way to try to get my real accounts to reflect what was on my bank and credit card statements.
