It's nice to see you here in the Community, @dev-dne-org.
Let me provide some information about updating customer information in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
First, the option to update data for multiple customers is currently unavailable in QBO. I know that editing information by batch is convenient. However, you'll need to manually edit them in the Customers tab.
Here's how:
- On the left navigation panel, click Sales.
- Go to the Customers tab.
- Click a customer. Then, hit Edit.
Additionally, you'll also need to manually update the information for the custom field you've created. This is because you can only match the default QBO fields to their corresponding ones on the file.
I'll leave these articles for more info on managing your customers in QBO.
If you ever need to show customers summaries of their balances, you can create statements as gentle, detailed reminders about upcoming deadlines. Here's an article to guide you on how: Create and send customer statements in QuickBooks Online.
Feel free to leave a reply below this post for further clarifications about updating customer information in QBO. I'm just one post away.
